Time for a Revolution??

Paranoid about Petrol Stations

Is it me, or do you also find that when filling up at petrol stations, you put in (for example), £10.00 and you KNOW the last digits were "00", but when you pay the cashier, the last digits are now "01", so instead of £10.00, it's now £10.01.

Now, it may only be a penny, but how many people does this happen to?

I'd be interested in hearing from anyone with similar experiences - is this a conspiracy and money making excercise, or is this me being clumsy!!

Please let me know!!

I've seen it happen when the pump is returned to it's cradle - so it's not me being paranoid.
